Transforming the ‘Home of Cricket’ into the Home of World-Class Dining.

SALT’s Solution.

SALT created the Lord’s Dining Club. In partnership with the MCC, we invited world-class Michelin starred chefs including Tom Kerridge, Claude Bosi, Daniel Clifford and Simon Rogan, to cook dinner for 200 people in the historic Long Room.

We persuaded the club to open up the England dressing room and its famous balcony for pre-dinner drinks and canapés for the first time in its 215 year history. Cricketing legend Angus Fraser hosted and each chef chatted through the highs and lows of their careers and their love of cricket, giving the audience a truly unique and joyful experience.

Results.

Now in its third sell-out year, the Lord’s Dining Club has been a game changer for the MCC. Positioning their hospitality offering at the pinnacle of sports entertainment – as well as creating content which has had global engagement – introducing a whole new audience to the magic of Lord’s.

“As a massive cricket fan it was a great honour to cook for so many important people at a venue steeped in so much history.”
